Hi, I’m Kristi Kautz - founder of Mojave Lu.
I create photorealistic architectural visualizations and spatial design concepts for interiors, hospitality spaces, experiential environments, and residential developments. My work helps designers, developers, and property owners communicate ideas clearly, explore design decisions, and confidently move projects forward before construction begins.
In addition to visualization work, I’ve collaborated on renovation design, spatial planning, and construction documentation for residential and hospitality projects, while also spending the past decade designing and renovating properties of my own. That hands-on experience gives me a practical understanding of real-world construction, material decisions, spatial flow, and how spaces function beyond the rendering itself.
My background also includes developing branded experiential concepts and presentation materials for client pitches, which continues to influence how I approach storytelling, atmosphere, and the emotional experience of a space.
As a collaborative design partner, I work with interior designers, builders, hospitality brands, investors, and homeowners to help translate ideas into spaces that feel visually compelling, intentional, and thoughtfully considered from both a design and real-world perspective.
Based in California’s high desert, I work with clients locally and internationally.
